Administrative staff

Entering preschool is  one of the most important educational experiences in your child's life, and we want your first contact with our school to be a positive experience. Parent and teacher partnerships are important to your child's success and our administrative team is the here to help you feel comfortable with entrusting your child to us.

  • Leigh Anne Moore, Director

Leigh Anne has been with the CDC since 2001. She received her degree in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also certified in Early Childhood Education and English as a Second Language. She taught for ten years in public school before beginning at the CDC.

Leigh Anne believes that children need a loving and nurturing environment in which they are able to explore learning through a hands on approach.  She has two sons, Garrett and Marshall, who both started in the nursery at the CDC and graduated from the program.

Leigh Anne is active in her church, Manchaca UMC, where she serves as the property manager. She enjoys sports such as running, basketball and football. Her greatest joy is  spending time with her boys and her fur babies, Kiya and Max.

  • Miranda Fry, Assistant Director

Hello my name is Miranda Fry and I am excited to be joining Manchaca United Methodist CDC! I have worked in the Early Childhood development field for five years. My favorite thing about working with children is that there is such an exciting amount of growth at this stage in their development. It is a true joy to see their smiling faces; to watch them grow, and to be a part of the joy and wonder in all that they do.

My husband, Seth, and I have two wonderful boys, Samuel &

Nathaniel, who keep us very busy. We all love spending time outdoors, camping, and going to sporting events. I love to go to the movies, cooking/baking, trying new recipes, and spending time with my family. I am excited in building a relationship with each of you, and I look forward to the future with Manchaca United Methodist CDC!!

  • Meagan Tanton,

    Curriculum Coordinator

Meagan Tanton has been at the CDC since 2018 and in the early childhood development field since 2008. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and then attended Texas A&M for her Masters of Education coursework, specializing in early childhood education.  If you're wondering- her loyalty lies with the longhorns! Hook 'Em.

Meagan's favorite thing about working with young children is watching them have those "ah-ha" moments. This could be discovering that a caterpillar turns into a butterfly or simply learning how to unzip a lunchbox. She loves when the Lord uses the youngest of minds to teach beautiful lessons.

She has three children whom all attend the CDC since the nursery room: Malachi, Evangeline, and Eli.  Meagan enjoys being outside with her family, baking in her 1950's kitchen, drinking coffee while reading about the Lord, and going to places around Austin with her husband, Tyler.
